Rear Speaker not working outside of "Test"

When I test the speakers in play back devices they work everything else videos on youtube videos on my computer they dont work

It is a Quadraphonic sound system (4 speakers 2 subs)

The youtube videos are stereo. Try in games, or surround audio DVDs/movies.

Some sound cards can upmix stereo(speaker fill, cmss3d, sbx, ect) so you may be able to do that. Check your sound cards software for such an option.

know any good programs with it newer realtek versions dont have the option

Just grab the latest from your board/system makers site. You can check Sound -> Playback -> Speaker properties -> Enhancements to see what you have.

Example.

Some systems have other software outside of the realtek one like Xfi-MB and similar. Upmixing does not give the same signals to the rear speakers in most cases, more of a softer version to give depth. CMSS-3D has an option to just mirror the from channels to the rear speakers when 2 channel audio is played, but it is creative exclusive and only works on older cards(Audigy/Xfi[not the usb ones])
