Question Rear USB-C Audio on ASUS ROG Strix B550i Gaming

Hi All,

I have the included ASUS USB-C to 3.5mm audio jack for use with this motherboard.

It detects that I plugged in my AKC headphones, and Windows asks me if it was a headphone or headset, however in the Realtek Audio Console, it defaults only to speaker configuration. In the advanced device settings, it correctly sees the USB-C connection as being headphones, however I have no option to configure (only speakers) and I have no option to select Headphones from Windows audio in the taskbar. Any ideas?

You sure you're not working with AKG headphones? I can't find anything resembling AKC headphones. If the headphone is an analog device, use the analog ports on the motherboard.
