Reasons to get a mechanical keyboard

Hey, I just wanted to know at least 5 reasons to get my father to buy me a mechanical keyboard so I can convince him

what kind of keyboard are you using right now? if its a laptop then the only reason and winning reason: to protect against food+drink. pour beer on your external kb and you lose a keyboard, pour it on your laptop keyboard and you lose a laptop.

one thing is don't let him hear you typing on one before buying you one cause they can be loud and annoying to some people

Right now I'm using some old dell keyboard

reason 1: If I table flip, my mechanical keyboard is sturdy and will suvive, the plastic keys easy to replace.

reason 2: Keyboard sounds will give you an audible way of telling that I am doing work, no sound means im watching porn. a cheap parental control.

reason 3: Mentos and coke .... mechanical keyboards love to be cleaned up after an explosion and are less susceptible to spills?

reason 4: If i can have a mechanical keyboard that has lights under the keys (backlit) then I am saving energy (cheaper electricity bill) by playing games in the dark with the lights off.

reason 5: You come up with 5 reasons why I should not get a mechanical keyboard to replace this current piece of sht.
