OK i was have a ton of problems with a couple of programs that kept crashing over and over. So i reinstalled Windows XP Media Center Edition. Of course this OS sucks until all the updates are installed. I got those all installed. But now it gets stuck at the windows xp boot screen logo. Even in safe mode it freezes at the last driver loaded part. At the boot screen when if freeses i cant here my 2nd hard drive spin down and sometimes i can get into windows if i keep it unplugged. Problem is i need to have 2 hard drives. Another problem is some times when it boots to it wont show any picture unless i disable SLI through the bios. What should could i do?

My hardware

2 XFX 6800GS
4 sticks of Corsair XMS 512MB
Asus A8N-Premium SLI with 1009 Bios
AMD 3800+ X2
WD Raptor 150GB (main drive with windows)
WD Caviar 250GB (2nd drive)
Antec 550watt PS

forgot to add, the boot.ini seems fine this is what it looks like

[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Windows XP Media Center Edition" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect /usepmtimer

theres no raids or added partitions in my set up, 1 partition per hard drive

what should i do?

I got the video fixed messing with some files from nvidia. But i the only problem left is when windows has the boot logo the second i hear the 2nd hard drive spin down or spin up one of the two it just stays at that loading screen. Nothing is on that drive to mess with the settings, just some .txt files and media files
