hello, I have the error coming up on my screen reading ' reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key'
I have tried using every hard drive and one of them has died. so I have tried using a new hard drive just in case ans still getting same message.
I have tried each hard drive and SSD separately just in case and still not working.
I have configured the BIOS as well to just a primary boot device and still getting nothing.
I have tried using the windows disc for reformat the hard drives and still getting same screen.
I have tried updating my bios just incase it need to be updated and the bios will not let me update it from a pen drive.
I have tried taking the bios battery out and resetting the bios but I am still getting nothing and starting to come to a stand still with how to fix this problem.

If anyone can give me anymore recommendations I would appreciate it a lot.

Solution
did you try only having the windows install drive attached? I mean USB or DVD, remove all other drives from boot order I have reads that can fix it.

see if you can break cycle of error and then next time attach drive you actually want to install onto

Ryan...
Why don't we take this step-by-step and see if we can determine what is the PC system you're working with and try to gain a precise understanding of the problem you're experiencing?

1. I assume you're working with a desktop PC. Is that correct?

2. If so, what's the make/model of the motherboard, or is this an OEM machine?

3. So can we assume that at one time in the not-too-distant past the PC was operating just fine with no problems with the OS? And that OS is?...

4. Or, is this a new machine, possibly self-built, and you've been experiencing problems from the get-go?

5. I suppose at some point you installed the OS onto your SSD? Or you've never been able to?

6. Tell us precisely how your PC is configured.

See where I'm going with this Ryan? Provide some clear background about your system and the problem(s) from the very beginning of when & how you experienced the problem(s) as if in an unfolding movie for all to see.
