Idk wtf happen but I remembered playing some games and shutting down the computer properly. But today when I switch on my computer, it just shows "reboot and select proper boot device". I tried resetting it, tried switching the hard drive cables and nothing works. And unlike the rest, I just can't find my damn hard drive in the bios settings. And every thread and video I visit, their BIOS seems different from mine. Its like I only have this weird one of a kind BIOS.

Computer - Asus CG8270

Specs - Intel i7-3770 @ 3.4ghz Turbo boost to 3.9ghz
Palit oc stormx edition GTX 750ti
16gb of ram

I uploaded a video on YouTube about the problem - https://youtu.be/tSegYGmbeak

that sounds bad, chances are the interface board is faulthy. I am guessing there´s no unusual sounds too yeah?
Try the HDD in another pc, if it doesn´t work, you can pretty much guess it´s done for.

If you have valuable data, you could go to a professional and have him try to switch controller boards
sounds like your storage drive containing your OS died on you.

If the drive with OS died, bios won´t show the drive and windows won´t boot. If its a HDD drive, do you hear it spinning at all? Does it make noises? Any apparent dmg to the drive?

I don't have any other desktops. I do have a personal laptop Asus x550j. I wouldn't say I have valuables in that hard drive but, I do have stuff that I don't wish to lose. But I don't mind losing those stuff for my computer to be saved. So worse case scenario I'll need to send it to repair? How much do you reckon it's gonna cost?

In my country it really depends on what shop you visit, and personally I´d have my sisters husbond do it for me for free. But I guess somewhere around $20-35 would be fair, more than $50 seems overpriced to me.

Well, shit. If I bring it to a shop to repair, is it possible for them to regain my files? Cuz it would be a pain in the ass if it's all clean since I have tons of games that are worth 600gb and downloading them 1 by 1 is a torture

It´s hard to say if they could or could not.
Installations of games may be necessary either way. Only few games work properly with a copy/paste.

Erm Ok so I had a lenovo computer which is old af. Still running on Pentium. I manage to some what fix that old desktop and got it working. And so I plug my CG8270 hard drive to my lenovo computer. It didn't bring me anywhere. It just showed a blank screen with a dash blinking
