Hello I need some help with my pc.
Earlier today i was going to delete my steam folder but ut didnt work and somebody told me to launch my pc in safe mode because then i could delete the folder without any problems of ownership. So i go to the advanced startup tab in settings and then go fruther to then redtart my pc in safe mode.
But now when my pc launches up i get this message saying "Reboot and Select proper Boot Device or Insert Boot Media in selected device and press a key". And ofc i have googled around and searched for answers to this problem but the answer on forums and youtube is always to launch pc in to bios setup by clicking "Delete" button then im told to change my boot order to Hard disk in the boot options and that was already there. I tried also to open the Boot menu by clicking F12 on launch but nothing happend.

When I go to the Boot options in the bios and to the Hard Disk Drive Priority no Hard drives show up. But when i go to Advanced-Miscellaneous they show up.

I would really like some help with this, ty in advance

It sounds like you've somehow deleted the partition on your HDD. Did you do a complete system wipe? if so, that means you have to re-install Windows, and from the sounds of it, you've probably deleted all files on the HDD. However. It could also be that it simply doesn't fully detect the drive because it's not in the right boot order. Within the BIOS, you should be able to arrange the boot order, and always make your HDD, SSD, or whatever holds the OS partition, first. It should boot after this, and if it doesn't-- it means there's no partition to boot from. If you can't see the drive AT ALL, it may be the drive has become disconnected from the SATA cable and needs to be refitted. If the issue still persist, it's probably due to the longevity of the drive- being old, per se.

ty for answering. This probably didnt come random. Eariler today I saw the benefits of having games and the OS installed on the SSD instead of the HDD so I copyed the whole OS and my games And put them in the other drive (BUT i didnt delete them from the original drive) that means I have the OS installed on both drives. Maybe the PC doesnt know which drive to boot from because both have OS? idk. Maybe u know if this is connected to the issue

The PC has to be directed to a preliminary drive to boot before it will do so- I.E, it needs you to tell it which drive to boot from, otherwise it will default to whatever is in the first boot order. When you re-installed Windows to the SSD, did you do so by moving/copying the partition from the HDD or using a ISO/disk to install the OS? If you used an ISO/disk, it'll probably be trying to boot from the disk drive or USB device, and if there's nothing that allows it to boot in there, then it's not going to boot properly. However, you should be able to access BIOS and switch to the perfered preliminary drive. I don't believe there should be any conflict of partitions between the drives, since either one would act as a boot device, given there's the same partition on either one. Are you absolutely certain you copied/installed Windows to the new device, and formatted the partition?

The problem is that when i go into my BIOS and in to the Hard Disk Drive Priority none of my Hard drives show up.

But I managed to install Windows 10 onto a usb to see if i could just repair windows for it to work.
So i launched my Pc with the usb and i succesfully came to the windows installation.
When i saw the "Repair your computer" tab i clicked it and fooled around a bit in the w10 trouble shooting menu and went to the "System Image Recovery" tab. I got a message saying that no image file was found but i went further in the menu to advanced and got to "Install a driver" and now i got into my pc's explorer and i could look through all of my files on my pc and both of my hard drives showed up. So i proceeded and thought that if i delete all of the files on the drive that copyed from the other driver (and yes i did not install windows properly i just copyed from the other drive onto this one). So i know that my pc can see the drivers and all the files and folders inside because i was able to acces any folder. But my bios cant seem to find it somehow.

Conclusion: This anaswer im writing right here is maybe kinda messy for you and hard to understand sl here is a fast conclusion of it: I managed to launch my pc to windows 10 installation with usb and managed to look through all of my files and drivers. So i know that my drivers (probably) aren't broken BUT MY BIOS cant see them somehow.
