hi guys,

trying to sort my brother in laws pc, he was on his game (broswer game) then went downstairs and all of a sudden it went off and when he went to switch it on, that message came up.

things i have tried:

checked bios for boot priority
used window to try fix the problem but a message came up and said boot bcd and there is no window on the hard drive
tried connecting the hard drive to my pc but it says i need to initialize it but when i tried to initialize it, it said fatal hardware error

something tells me the hard drive has somehow broke/gone faulty

can anyone help please?

here is a screenshot of disk management

many thanks

ssd? hdd?
yes, sound like hardware issue.
very sorry, i knew i have forgotten something, yes, it is an ssd.

any way to fix it? i am even willing to format it if i can.

just an update:

have tried fixing it with easeus partition master, first i tried surface scanning and that gave me nothing but red blacks meaning bad sectors.
tried wiping it and it said media is write protected.
went on diskpart and did clear the attributes
so tried wiping it again but kept saying operation could not be done due to errors
