Reboot loop after installing additional memory in Intel DH55TC.

I had installed a Kingston 2GB module (KVR1333D3N9/2G) in my Intel DH55TC and running Windows 8.

I needed more memory, so I bought 2 additional modules of 4GB each one (KHX1333C9D3B1/4G).

All the specs apparently match (Non-ECC, CL9, etc) and the BIOS correctly recognize them.

But when I try to enter to Windows again the system reboots in an infinite loop.

I tested the memory modules in other PC and are perfect. I even can run a Ubuntu LiveCD, but when I try to do a memory test it suddenly stops.

I don't know what to do, I updated the BIOS and the chipset drivers, cleared CMOS, replaced the battery but nothing works.

I'm considering that perhaps some configuration in the BIOS could help but don't know what to touch. If I remove the new modules everything works as usual and I can enter to Windows.

What else could I try?

Thanks in advance.

According to http://www.kingston.com/datasheets/KHX1333C9D3B1_4G.pdf your 4GB modules are single-sided (8 IC's), but the motherboard requires double-sided (16 IC's) 4GB modules like the Kingston KVR1333D3N9/4G http://www.kingston.com/datasheets/kvr1333d3n9_4g.pdf As you can see at http://www.cmtlabs.com/2012/mbSearchResults.asp?sManuf=Intel&sMem=DDR3&sMN=DH55TC&oSubmit=Search your new modules are not on the list of supported modules. Return the modules and order KVR1333D3N9/4G modules to resolve your issue.
G.Skill memory manufacturer FAQs:
Q:
I want to install more memory, in addition to my existing memory kit. What are my options?

A:
We do not recommend mixing memory kits, regardless of brand or model.

By mixing memory kits together, there may be compatibility issues such as unable to boot or unable to operate at rated specifications.

Each of our memory kit are thoroughly tested to ensure compatibility within each memory kit. And because we have not tested our memory kit with your existing memory kit, we cannot guarantee compatibility when multiple kits are used.

Wow, that was absolutely unexpected, but it is perfectly reasonable.

Tomorrow morning I will go to change the modules.

I really appreciate this info. I wouldn't have found by myself.

Thanks GhislainG.

Even that is confirmed in the Intel website:

Single-sided is only supported for 1GB and 2GB modules.
