reboot to proper device but alot more difficult

Hey I recently installed 2 ssds and now I get the reboot and select proper boot drive buy the snag is that I can't boot to my uefi or bios
My board is a gigabyte ultra durable z97

Did you install Windows 8 and have quick boot enabled? If that's the case you need to reset your bios to factory and then you should be able to get in. Quick boot allows you to boot extra fast in to the OS but it cuts off your ability to get in to the bios.

You're using a tower, not a laptop right? What motherboard are you using?

I am using the Gigabyte Z97P-D3 and yes o am using a tower atx

Page 17 of your manual has instructions on how to reset your CMOS, page 12 shows where the jumper is. If you don't have access to your manual you can download it from their website at http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_ga-z97p-d3_e.pdf

Not likely, your resetting a bios via the controls they've laid out for you. You should be fine, just read and follow your manual and pay careful attention to how you do everything.
