I'm considering rebuilding my i7 870@2.93GHz with 16Gb RAM on an Intel DH55TC mobo to better handle Photoshope/Lightroom and multitasking. After watching many of your You Tube videos, and reviews here's my tentative plan for the build.

Intel i7-7820X 3.6 GHz with Asus ROG Strix X299-E LGA 2066, Noctua NH-D-15 Cooler, Samsung 960 Pro M.2 NVMe 512 Gb Hard Drive, Corsair Vengenance DDR4 32Gb, and EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 SC Video card.

Since i don't game would the current Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 video card work?

I'd appreciate any cost saving performance saving suggestions. I'm not a gamer, but reviews lead me toward gaming configurations.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

You can always try to have a cheaper motherboard, the Killer X299 is 100$ cheaper and solid performer. But you need to check if has the ports and features you are looking for.
