I just rebuilt my machine with the following specs; Athlon 64 X2 Brisbane 4400+ currently OCed @ 2.7GHz/4x HT, 4GB Of Geil DDR2-800 (My sig gives more detail) Im stuck at 2.7GHz with a 4x HT The im certain that the cpu would easily go to 3Ghz with a voltage bump but whenever i bump the voltage even at 2.7Ghz my machine shuts down...what gives?

Note: it is stable at the current 2.7ghz without a voltage bump and im using a stock cooler

You might need to get an aftermarket cooler, that 90nm process is hot. Not all CPU's are the same either, its possible that the chip you got doesn't want to go any higher. What mb do you have? That has a significant effect on OC'ing potential as well.

Any idea what your temps are?

Nah Its 65nm, Temps At The Current Stable 2.7GHz Is 150F At Full Load, Im Running It On A Solid Capacitor Biostar MCP6P M2+, It Only Happens When I Raise The Voltage Above Stock At 2.8GHz, I Have An Aftermarket Zalman All-Copper 110mm Cooler That I Havent Gotten The Thermal Paste For Yet

Do you mean you run your cooler without thermal paste, or simply with stock thermal paste (if any)?

your temps are high because of no thermal paste.

a 120mm heatsink would help aswell, try akasa's ak967 if you want to stay quiet or anything made by xigmatek or thermalright or Noctua if you don't mind the noise.
