Rebuilding Desktop with original hardware

Hi

My hp desktop died. I would like to rebuild a desktop using some of my original hardware. I'm looking for a motherboard that's compatible with AMD FX 6100(Zambezi) processor TDP 65w and a geforce 7450 not 7450m it's a geforce 7450 graphics card and ddr3 ram? Can anyone suggest a compatible motherboard? Thanks Dawn

I think you're referring to the AMD Radeon HD 7450 discrete GPU...

How much can you shell out on the motherboard? Did you get to the bottom of how your HP prebuilt died? If it's related to the PSU and the board was fried due to a power surge, then you're also looking at a PSU purchase.

The motherboard died. All the other hardware is good. I would like to spend on the low end to the middle of the road pricing for a motherboard. I do use my pc for creating my art and I run poser, Daz and 3dmax. I do a lot of rendering so I would like the motherboard to be able handle those art programs. The form factor on the hp tower is uATX or as I heard mAtx they are suppose to be the same. The power supply is fine, but if the new motherboard requires more power I would by another power supply
