Hey guys! My brother burned out his PSU last year and I took the responsibility of fixing/upgrading it. I’ve never built a computer before but know a bit about the software end of things. I got his new computer all ready to go and it powers on, goes through the POST and BIOS just fine. I can use my USB wireless keyboard/mouse with the BIOS. When I get to the Win 7 Pro login screen, they stop working. I’ve tried changing the boot priorities, trying different USB ports, and everything but nothing seems to have worked. I haven’t tried a PS/2 mouse yet because I don’t have one available, but I have strong doubts that it’ll work.

Its old specs were:
Thermaltake TR2 600W PSU
Asus P8P67 LE Board
Intel i5 CPU
(2) XMS 4GB RAM
And some weird like 1 or 2GB GPU

Its new specs are:
Corsair RM750 PSU
MSI MPG X570 Pro Carbon WiFi Board
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU
(2) Corsair Vengeance 8GB RAM
MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Super 6GB GPU

The HDD is the same WD Blue 1TB that I didn’t change as I wanted to try to save the data on it through the upgrade process. I’m not sure if any of that helps but I’ve worked a full two days trying different things to get this computer working and I’m slightly frustrated with it. Thanks for your help!
