rebuilt nas - new drive - lacie

Hi

i have replaced a broken drive (2tb) with a new drive (4tb)

after a few minutes, I can now see the 2 drives on my mac but cannot write anything on any of them

apparently i need an admin login and password....

Yea you have format them (is not already formatted) and to do so you have to go to Disk Management under utilites and format them. You do need a username and password of an admin account and if yours is the only account then you are the admin.
