Recall on Hp mother boards

My Hp would start up but when my start up page was done the whole computer froze up, I could not turn it off I had to pull the plug. Also it would beep a lot. I had taken it back to Staples where I got it, its been there for two days.They told me it was a mother board era. Its Model is s5-1010 Serial #3CR1250DNQ . Is there a recall on them Please help me
I have three other Hp and have had no trouble.

is it still under warrenty? if it is why worry about it? anyway the only people who would know that would be HP. call them.

and i wonder why i stay away from anything HP

(the only reason company recall anything is when it can damage you, and bring law suite) the rest of junk on market,,,,,, Good luck
otherwise half of wall-mart would get recalled lol with all the junk they sell

Check your HP warranty here but you need to also enter the product number that is on the sticker with serial number:

Uh, take it in for warranty repair? Or pay to swap it out? Never heard of a recall for a motherboard.
