Reccomend a 1440p Under £300

I'm planning my budget gaming setup and I've finished planning the PC and I'm now deciding on a monitor. I've been looking at something like a 25 inch Dell U2515H for a reasonable price of £250 (which has 5 star rating from 54 reviews on Amazon) or something more expensive like the 27 inch Acer CB270HU for £290 (which only has one 5 star review), or maybe something completely different. The monitor will mostly be used for gaming on my I5-4570, GTX 970 PC. As long as it costs under £300, i'll consider it.

Any reasoning? This only has 20M:1 contrast ratio while the Acer has 100M:1, will this make a big difference?
