[SOLVED] Reccomended changes for my PC part picker build?

if you would make any reccomended changes in terms of RAM, Cooling, Case (with an optical drive slot), PSU, and Monitor please let me know with the price (nothing too extreme relative to the parts already being picked.) I wouldn't want to pay more than 1600$ for the PC itself and no more than 800$ for the monitor (I think the monitor I've chosen is pretty great for its price). PC is currently around 1400$.

• What is your main usage?
• If editing, then 2700X is a good choice, if it's gaming, then you'll potentialy prefer the 3600.
• If gaming again, 16GB RAM would be fine, if editing, 32GB might be useful depending.
• Also a B450 would likely be fine depending on your need, rather than an X470
• 850W is way more than needed, and the BQ is not great, you can definitely get a better quality 650W.
• You can actually leave W10 unactivated and save the $99 cost.
• Do you need an aftermarket cooler or can you just use the stock 2700X one?

In my opinion a 120mm aio is not a good choice at all, you'd want to go up to a 240 or 360mm.

The 850w is way overkill and any good quality 650 or 750 will be more than enough. I myself like corsair units. But there are several great choices.

Case is personal preference, but I like a glass panel, you may not. Do you absolutely have to have an optical drive? Do people still use those, lol.

A 2070 is not the best choice for a 4k gaming card, you'd probably want to step up to a 2080. Or step down to a 1440p monitor.

Just my opinion but I think for gaming 4K is overrated, I have quite a few people often disappointed by the difference for the price hike. 1440p is a perfect point IMO - but that's just my view!

3600 is better for gaming than the 2700X - if you needed more cores for advanced editing etc. then the 2700X is hard not to choose.

any reccomended optical drives for playing UHD discs?
Just want to be able to watch my favorite movies on my new monitor and headphones.

Have you gamed in 1440p before vs 4k? As pctailor said, 4k gaming is overrated, but thats just my opinion. And a 1440p monitor will save you some coin, as well as run very well with 2070super. While it may do ok in 4k, I've seen reviews of the card struggling to break 60fps in some games. At 1440, 60fps will be zero issue in pretty much everything.

As far as the optical drive, I have zero ideas. I havent had one in a pc for years. And with the cost of a drive, plus software for watching movies, not worth it in my opinion. I'd just get a nice bluray player.
