I finished building my PC without a GPU.

I have a Asus H81M-PLUS motherboard and a Intel Pentium Haswell dual core G3220 CPU plus a Corsair 430M Power supply.

Which GPU shall I go for? Im looking for one that will run on my Power supply and wont be bottlenecked by my CPU.

Looking for a GPU that is similar to the GPU in the xbox one but I want to play at 1080p 30fps minimum at High settings not Ultra settings.

Thanks,

How bout the r7 260x, will run on your PSU, wont be bottlenecked by your CPU in most cases (atleast not @ 1080p) and will easily give you high to ultra settings (if you are satisfied with ~ 30fps) in most games. And yes, it is similar to the xbox one gpu. (Its the same gpu if I am not wrong)

Hell no......there is no such thing...

Well the max. wattage that your psu can supply to graphics card is 150W (75 W from Pcie slot & 75W from 6pin power connector). If your psu has 6/8 pin gpu power connector instead of only 6 pin connector then the 8pin connector alone can provide 150W.But the budget graphics card like r7 260x require only 6 pin connector. It is only high end graphic cards that require 8pin connectors.

Your Motherboard has 2.0 ×16 PCIe(PCI Express) slot whereas 3.0×16 PCIe slot provides twice the bandwidth than 2.0×16 .
But the performance difference is only about 1-2% and in some cases 0 btw PCIe 2.0 & PCIe 3.0
This is because in most cases the graphic cards are not able to fully utilize the bandwidth provided by PCIe(PCI Express) 2.0×16

And there is no such thing that Intel+ Nvidia combo is better than Intel+AMD or vice versa. Its the performance of graphic card which is in your budget that you should compare whether it is Nvidia or AMD

My power supply has 6/8pin. You sure my motherboard is PCI express 2.0 as I cant see ver 2.0 in my motherboard specs?

Ok so what you sayin that my motherboard will bottleneck a PCI express 3.0 GPU by 1-2%.

Also forgot to say does the 750 ti come with a displayport cable?

If i had to buy my own displayport cable then how do i verify that its v1.2 or higher?

There is no difference as of now between 2.0x16 and 3.0 x16 as far as a single GPU is concerned. Nothing such as 1-2% difference. However, there is around 5% decrease in PCIe 1.1 in older motherboards.

Ok i thought G Sync was available with monitors with displayports.

What are the requirements of any given monitor for the G Sync upgrade kit to work?

Generally will a displayport give any noticable improved visual difference over DVI?

My 1080p monitor has displayport. If I get a GPU with displayport then is it worth buying a displayport cable when I already have a DVI cable? Will I really notice any visual difference over DVI?

Does G Sync work with HDMI 1.4?

Will HDMI 1.5 threaten displayport?
