You can start receiving calendar alerts through Google Glass by following the steps below.

Step 1: Use your Android phone to set up a calendar appointment for your next event. Next, update your MyGlass Android software to version 3.3.0 or later. Make sure your Android software is updated to XE22.0 or later.

Step 2: Go to the Device menu. Check to see if there is a Notification sync message. If so, tap Turn on. Next, select Turn on notification access. If your notification menu is already up-to-date, skip to Step 4.

Step 3: To manually bring up the Notification sync menu, open MyGlass and click on the navigation bar on the side. Click on Settings, then select Notification sync. Click Turn on notification sync.

Step 4: Go to the Notification access menu on your Android. You’ll see a box next to MyGlass. Click on the box, next click OK. You can click on the back button in order to get back to the MyGlass app.

Step 5: A dialogue box will pop up in your MyGlass app telling you that notifications are muted for existing Glassware apps. Click on Got it to proceed. If you want to prevent certain apps from creating alerts in Glass, click on the Add app to the list button and choose the app you want to mute.

Step 6: You’ll hear a chime alert when you get a new notification. Any enabled notifications on your Android, including scheduled appointments on the calendar, will alert your Glass. When you hear the notification chime, tap on the touchpad in order to take an action based on the alert – for example, reschedule an appointment. Opening MyGlass on your Android will automatically open up the app that sent the notification.
