So around 3 weeks ago, my Acer Preator Helios 300 suddenly went shut down and unable to boot. I suspected a motherboard failure and sent it to Acer service center. They confirm it was motherboard failure and replaced the motherboard.
Went I received the laptop, everything was fine but the GPU was not detected. So I sent the laptop again to service center and they replaced it again. Two days ago, I received the laptop after excruiating pain of not having laptop for around 3 weeks.
To my surprise, there are several GPU artefacts (Multiple small dots and multiple boxes) as shown below. This happens in many games from rainbow six siege, age of empires 4, total war warhammer 3, and divinity original sins 2. I suspect this to be a faulty GPU again. I CAN'T BELIEVE I HAVE TO RETURN THE LAPTOP 3 TIMES. Seriously, does Acer service center intentionally keep bad hardware in their warehouse and do their technicians are so incompetent?
I will never buy Acer laptop again cause their service center is very poor.
