I ran the Driver Booster and now the sound does not work.?? Is this normal and ideas here

I found this online in a response to someone who updated the sound driver and is having the same issue.
"When I have upgradeded my sound card driver, it's not uncommon for the new driver be set by default to digital audio output. If you switch it to analog your speakers will work again"

Where do I find this "switch"?

i ran it and it set my sound to stereo, then when i swapped it to 5.1 my speakers were set to stereo and I didn't notice until i spent 10 minutes trying to get rear speakers to output sound. Then i noticed it was actually playing sound out of rear and realised i had speakers set to dual sterreo mode. Switched them and it all worked. So yeah, it plays with sound settings :)

I just had to go and select the speakers. But it still crashes and gives the PCI Express warning. I'm not sure if that is why it is crashing, I just looked in the event viewer app and it says multiple warnings. There are error showing in the error section. within the last hour, 4 printservice errors event ID 370 and ID 215. and a CAPl2 error. I haven't a clue what is wrong. A week ago I watched a video how to keep your disk from running at 100%. I went into the services desktop app and disabled superfetch and background intelligence transfer service, then went into regedit and in the control file changed it from booting all the time. I then noticed the crashes so I went back and changed everything back to default. But that could be just a coincidence.

upload your dump files to a cloud server and share a link here, drivers were just a chance of fixing it.

did you update bios? or is it latest already?

error was pointing at ram so might want to download and run memtest86: http://www.memtest86.com/
