Recent slow USB transfer rates.

So I've noticed recently my USB transfer rate will not break 6MB/sec to a flash drive when it used to never go below 16MB/sec. No new hardware changes and the BIOS is configured for USB 2.0 Hi-speed. This is true for all USB ports on the machine, even the front panel ones.

Its an ASUS M4A78T-E
Phenom x4 955BE @ 3.51GHz
4GB DRR3
Radeon HD 4870
Win7 x64
I have found many a dead thread on this issue, but surely this won't happen here

I got the same problem. Just a few days ago I posted about it here, many reading, nobody saying any. My mobo is GA-770T-D3L, win 7 64. At one of the similar threads I found this advice: disable "Legacy USB storage detect", that was for a little different problem. I guess I'll do that and see what happens.
