Well the Sager NP9850 runs I guess GTX 280M SLI, and although it can handle every game I throw at it on max settings except Dawn of War 2 which it won't even play and Empire: Total War that has battles over 2000 units on ultra settings, it seems like every game I play on this setup the game freezes/stutters for 1-2 seconds and continues to play again. It is incredibly obnoxious although it happens in some games once and sometimes multiple times on other games. Anyone know what is going on?

My CPU happens to be the stock CPU that comes with the NP9850 which is C2D P8700 2.53 Gigz. I'll update the cards, but I have a inferior Sony Vaio with much lesser specs that will run Dawn of War 2 fine, but when played on my Sager it says that nvlddmkm.sys driver has failed and has been successfully recovered everytime.

With that kind of power you really shouldn't be playing games on a battery. If you have to, make sure it's running the "High Performance" (or whatever) power configuration preset so it doesn't throttle processing for battery savings (assuming you're using at least Vista). For best results, keep it plugged in.

Also, I heard Sager has horrible build quality and other problems... so that may factor in, but I have no personal experience.

So it gives the nvlddmkm.sys error and then it says it has been recovered right ?
OK update the drivers if it didn't help then test with "Windows Aero" set to off,if that didn't help test with windows XP

Will do.
