Recently built high end system upgrade

my system specs:
i7 2600
hyper 212+
msi hd 6950 twinfrozer III oc edition
asrock fatality p67
4 gb gskill ripjaws ram
1 tb wd black hard drive
seasonic j series 750w 80 plus psu
haf 912 advanced
22" benq v2220h monitor

my question is does my system needs any upgrades? or flashing the vga to 6970? and is the psu enough to handle another 6950?
my main usage is gaming by the way

With that I honestly wouldn't even think about upgrading. But that's just me. The PSU definitely wouldn't cut it for 2 6950's. With that build it would cost a lot for just a little bit of a boost.

Your setup isn't bad. Since you already bought those parts there's no need to recommend any changes. The things I would've went for is the i5-2500k and 1TB Samsung Spinpoint F3. A 500W is enough to power one 6950. If you want to add another one.. You would need at least 700W. Seasonic is so badass in power supplies.

The 6950 should last for you a long time by itself. I don't think you really need to add on another graphic card but know that your power supply can handle it if you do choose to run it as crossfire. Make sure your motherboard is at least x8/x8.

so i don't need another 4 gigs of ram or an ssd?
and they say that crysis 2 on direct x 11 want more than 2 6950s, is that true?

I have to disagree. The corsair website recommends at least a TX950w for 2 6900 cards. I know that Seasonic is top of the line, but corsair isn't far behind (and it's made by seasonic, is it not?) It maybe will run the 2 6950's but it's very risky and could compromise performance quite a lot if it works at all.

because i saw reviews that overcloacking will shorten the life of the components and i won't need that extra performance anyway, but why 2 580s won't handle crysis 2?, it is just a game :S
