Recently changed from a 17" screen to 23", windows crashes within 5 minutes?

Hi, recently I changed my 17" computer screen to a 23" screen, I've had nothing but problems ever since changing, I've tried everything, system restore, installing new drivers, and changing my ram stick slots. After booting my PC up usually it will be fine until I play a YouTube video or put something graphically visual on. The screen then computer freezes and the only way to get out of it is turn the power switch off. Is this a problem relating with my ram ever since I changed the slots? Can my CPU handle the screen change? I'm completely clueless.

what is your gpu? psu? the only change for this should be an increase in resolution, which means more load for the gpu technically
