[SOLVED] recently i bought additional new RAM but the my laptop doesnt recognize it .

I recently bought some additional RAM for my laptop model HP 250 G5 i3 .
i bought new additional ram and serial part number is:

Kingston 4GB DDR3 1600MHz Notebook Ram KVR16S11S8/4 .


When i installed it on my laptop .it doesnt recognize it and it shows up says on the bios page *** "DIMM not installed ". What could be the problem?
 
Solution
The RAM you bought may be the wrong voltage, it's 1.5v, see here:

When buying ram you should always go to the memory maker’s website and use their detector tool to find out what’s compatible before you purchase

when i check out the slots on the ram slots... there is a label was written
1.5v is compatible .it s a weird. it is written on the slots 1.5 available but it doesnt work.i really appricated your help so much .thank you
