Hi to you all,
I started using AMD StoreMI since about a week, combining an OCZ-VERTEX 3 120 GB SSD with a Seagate Desktop ST2000DM001 2TB 7200 RPM HDD.
I use this combined space for storing my Kontakt Libraries, for producing music. I need a speedy drive to load those into my Digital Audio Workstation, so I thought I'd give it a try.
Today, however - CrystalDiskInfo reported a Caution health status for the Seagate HDD, reporting the following when hovering the mouse over it:
[C5] Current Pending Sector Count : 32
[C6] Uncorrectable Sector Count : 32
I'm adding screenshots too:
I never had a caution health status ever before with this drive. I'm a PC-enthusiast, but not an expert, especially on disk issues.
Would any of you know if this is caused by StoreMI, and if so - any way to fix it?
Or could this be extremely coincidental, in a sense that the drive is starting to fail? (the drive is quite old, Power On Hours: 21716)?
Thank you in advance for your time!
