Question Recently Updated [upgraded] my GPU

Hey guys, looking for any help with this issue I'm having. So I just upgraded to a 2070S from my RX580, however, after, I noticed that my sound would stop. It would work for everything else on my system without any issue whatsoever, however, if I played audio through my monitor (since my actual speakers are broken currently) sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I generally have to restart my PC for it to work again. Any ideas?

I've tried updating the drivers to the latest and well... they are the latest drivers. I'm using a DP to HDMI for one display, but the other display I'm using strictly uses HDMI only and neither of them produces any sound.

use DDU uninstaller to remove all AMD GPU drivers and nvidia drivers

reinstall the latest nvidia.com driver

set the default audio device in windows sounds to HDMI/DP digital audio or the monitor there

Not entirely sure on which settings I should be selecting though

This wasn't what I was looking for. I know how to set it as default. What I'm saying is, is that when I do SOMETIMES it won't play the audio through my monitor and I have to restart my PC for it to work.

If it´s not playing sound, is your default audio set correctly in windows sounds?

Does it play the test sound correctly in this menu?
