Just bought a Logitech wireless keyboard, and on the back there's a label saying rechargable batteries are not recommended. Why is it so? Is it because rechargable batteries have lower voltage and shorter life than regular alkaline batteries? I was thinking about buying Ni-MH rechargables but would like to hear from you to give me some advice first. Thanks.

I'm not sure about keyboards, but I'm using NiMH's in my Logitech cordless joystick with no problems. The voltage is lower, so that's on possible concern, but the shorter life isn't a big deal because they're rechargeable. I just keep an extra set in the charger on trickle so there's always a fresh set ready to go.
