How to connect audio from a new Panasonic TC-P50ST30 tv to an old Dennon AVR-1400 receiver?

The only audio output you have is the digital audio out. You will have to you a converter to change from digital audio out to analog. Luckily you have 5.1 analog input. Get something like this -- https://www.amazon.com/Panlong-Audio-Digital-Decoder-Converter/dp/B00AMC2J1Y You will then use three 3.5mm stereo to RCA cables to connect to your receiver.
