Recognize my display?

I want to have 2 monitors working but the second one does not get detected by my computer.

My main monitor is working fine, no issues and is connected to my graphics card (EVGA GTX 960 http://techreport.com/r.x/gtx-960-cards/evga-flat.jpg )
The graphic card does not have two connectors ( look at the picture ) so i connected my second monitor ( VGA ) to my motherboard it's a gigabyte ga z170xp (http://www.industech.pk/images/products/a-821-66264-160516102120.jpg )
I looked in the bios to see if i can set my motherboard to accept input from the VGA motherboard connection but i cant find the option.

Its possible that when you plugged your video card in, the onboard video is disabled. So your VGA monitor is not working. Must you use VGA? Your video card supports DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort.

My monitor plugged in the video card works the one plugged into my motherboard does not

( maybe i misunderstand the question you asked? if so can you ask me in a other way )
