There seems to have been discussion of some sort of "Lite" version of the 9800 Pro card with slightly lower speeds. I was wondering if there was some sort of way to recognize a "Lite" card from a true 9800 Pro. I am looking at the Sapphire 9800 Pro 128MB Atlantis, P/N 1024-PC00. Is this a true 9800 Pro card or could it possibly be a "lite" version? It's going for $300, so even though it's OEM the price is still pretty good and I want to make sure it's a real 9800 Pro and not some crappy version that will screw me over like the 9800 "SE" did.

The Atlantis 9800Pro is real. It's tough buying online, you dont get to check out the card, and your at the mercy of the retailer. Make sure they have an excellent return policy before you purchase. When you get the card, use a tweak utility to check it's clock speeds, and look to see what speed of ram is on the board. If you get jipped....return it.
