I wanna know what drivers for the Asus Z270F are actually needed? I just need the ones that are for basic operations and experiences of the mobo... I know I want the aura technology's controller (or whatever you call it).. but can you guys give me a recomnded list of utility's and drivers that are actually worth installing for a fresh build..

Chipset first, sata you can update them thru device manager. VGA if you use onboard.

Dont install AIcharger it'll crash your system. Dont install AI suite. It'll crash your system

Depends what version of windows you install. You dont need LAN or Audio if you use Win10. It installs them

I'll be running Windows 10 64bit... I'll get a screen shot of the drivers later (after I wake up). And see what ones everyine deems are necessary. Asus support was difficult to hear and understand...

Here is the list:
  • Intel(R) Chipset Software Installation Utility,
    Intel(R) Management Engine Interface,
    Intel(R) VGA drivers,
    Intel(R) Gigabit Ethernet Driver,
    Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology Driver,
    Realtek High Definition Audio,
    Aura V1.04.29.

Im noticing 2 Chipset drivers, are yo saying i need to install both of them?

Intel(R) Chipset Software Installation Utility
Intel(R) Management Engine Interface

Yes - both are needed.
Chipset drivers are not the same thing as Intel Management Engine.

Fans get controlled automatically, you can set them up in BIOS.
