(SPECS BELOW)
Hey Guys,
I'm looking for a 27" monitor to work against my GTX970. I don't plan to upgrade my GPU anytime soon so I'm trying to avoid overkill on the monitor as I've heard that your GPU is an important base on choosing what montoir can give you the best output. This will be my main display and I'm looking to play mainly strategy/sim games on this. I might delve into the likes of GTA, RDR etc. if my 970 can handle it. Budget-wise I'm looking at no more than $200-250 as I'm sure how long I'll be actively using it.
A friend recommended the MSI Optix G272 MSI G272 which doesn't look half bad, but again not sure if it's overkill. No way will I be playing high-end FPS games on it so I don't think I need the best refresh rate etc. i just need a bright, clear and crisp display. open to curved screens if you think it's worthwhile.
Any recommendations would really help me out...
Liam
