Question Recommend a gaming monitor (or two) - under 1000 each

I've got a 1070gtx and Windows 10.

Currently running two ROG PG279Q monitors, which are mostly fine, but would like a higher resolution and maybe going to widescreen.

Also open to upgrading the graphics card as it's a couple years old now.

I'd wait for Navi 12 before upgrading the GPU as the price may be very competitive as for two monitors what resolution are you looking to play at?

I was thinking 4k, but looking over things a bit more it seems like there's not really any clear upgrade path without losing a lot of the performance of the ASUS monitors I have. There's an upgraded ROG SWIFT that is over a grand but not sure I want to spend that much....

I am gonna be honest I'd upgrade to 1440P that's it 4K is too expensive to be worth it currently there's a 32 inch gaming monitor from Samsung that's 1440P and unofficially g sync compatible as in has been tested by the community and works great with it NOTE: you would need to upgrade your GPU as 1070 is starting to fallout of 1440P gaming.
