[SOLVED] Recommend a GPU for on old intel Mboard.

DG33FB Q9650 CPU 8Gb memory 450W Corsair PSU. Looking for recs on a GPU that will match my system. Had a HD5750 that cant be trusted now. Prefer something that wont need xtra pin power, but not out of the question either, as long as it is not as long as the 5750.
space was tight, power plug butted up aganst Hard drive cables. Started out looking at rx560 and gtx1050ti, but someone suggested by MB would not support(instructions) such a new GPU

I would just get something like a GTX 750 ti 2gb used for cheap and it would be a good increase over the HD 5750, just make sure it's a version that doesn't require the 6-pin connection (some do, others don't).

I was looking for 4gb, had 1 gb...Dont know if i need more than 2, dont know how to figure that out.

Here is the kicker on games...I have a dual boot system. W10 pro and XP pro. I keep xp solely for playing very old racing games that are pre vista...W98 era games. My sond card has drivers loaded in both and has agameport that works in XP. I play no games on W10.
monitor is 1920 x1080 @ 75hz.
I dont even know how my onboard graphics is even running this...lol.

With the games being that old I doubt your going to utilize over 2gb of vram even at 1080P.

TY. Do you think there is a problem with running something like what i was orginally looking for as someone suggested or not? I have the 6pin available and the power to run it just want the space for better airflow as well as removing/replacing devices., so i will look at both.

Those other GPU's may work, not entirely sure but I do know the 750 ti will work as I had a similar system last year and it should be considerably cheaper then those two.
