Can anyone recommend a good motherboard for an Intel Core i7-4790 processor? My Gigabyte Z97X Gaming board is going bad as anytime I shut it down or reboot it, it takes forever to get it back up as it will power on and sit for 10-15 sec before shutting off and then powering back on to repeat the process. I have to usually power it off and turn the psu off for 25 or so min before I can power it back up, at which point it boots fine. Ive had different procs in it, ram, and updated bios to latest version with no luck. Just tired of it, lol
I dont overclock even if my proc could (it cant) so that is not a worry. Need 4 pcie slots at min. Have 16gb DDR3 in it and wil use that...
Red and Black board would be ideal to match my current setup as well. Ive seen various options so want to ask opinions....thanks all
And no, I dont want to upgrade to new proc / etc..
