Good Afternoon:
I am currently building a system with the MSI KT4 board, and an Athlon XP2200 Socket A 1.80ghz processor.
The space inside the case is quite small. (It's a 'luggable' PC from CaseDepot.) I am finding that the height above the processor is limited to 2 inches or approx 50 mm. The space at the end of the 2 inches is occupied by the power supply - so a cooling device that just barely fits into the two inch limit will have a very slim space to pull/push airflow.
Are there any recommendations on a cooling device rated for the 1.8 ghz Athlon that would:
-have a low stack height but still have adequate cooling?
-have a 2-inch stack height and move air sideways?
-allow liquid cooling but uses a very small pump/motor and radiator system? (The liquid cooling option would put a small water block into the processor space. The liquid tubing would then run to a space approx 3" wide x 6" tall x 2" deep that could be mounted to the case wall and vented to the outside.)
I welcome your replies. Thanks for your time.
