I am interested to have a little home server, but this server will open to internet and several domains will be pointed to it. May be i will provide Lunix hosting on future but for now i need it just move all my sites in it and not pay extra money for hosting companies.
I don`t have much internet speed, max is 8mb and i need cheap cheap. Actually i use shared hosting and i don`t need dedicated ones for my sites so they are simple. I need this server to be up 99% as usual server in ex:hostgator. So the question is which type of server do you recommend me?
I have interested to see such server which seems somhow cheap for me (curent auction is 155$) which is http://www.ebay.com/itm/170898738952?_trksid=p5197.m1992
but this one seems very large in terms of size for home and i think it would be noisy. So i haven`t touched server ever before
and let me know suitable server for my home.
