Recommend me a Bluetooth adapter

I'm looking to get a Bluetooth adapter for my PC but they have very broad price ranges and I'm not sure what to look for. I could use a USB one but I would also prefer to install an internal one. I am using a pre-built system from Cyberpower running an MSI motherboard and an Intel i7 CPU. What kind of compatibility issues could come up and what features would warrant an increased price?

The only compatiblity issues taking the PCIe route would be if your motherboard has a large video card blocking PCIe slots. If you see slots are open there there is no problem.

All of these adapters work the same. Buying a more expensive one will not give performance increase but may be higher build quality and last longer.

Thanks so much! I wanted to use a PCIe adapter because I find myself often not having as many USB ports as I would like on this machine. It looks like I have a couple of PCIe slots available so I'll probably go that rout. Plus I have a USB wireless adapter at the moment so it would free up another USB port for me as well.

Wait the PCIe one doesn't include a bluetooth adapter apparently and you have to plug one onto it sorry. You won't be able to run more than 1 module in it and if you bought a cheap USB bluetooth module with it then you could plug it into the slot the card provides it would still work.

PCIe ones seem very hand to find and expensive and finicky. If you are running out of USB ports I recommend adding a usb hub to gain more ports for devices.

Thanks for pointing that out. You game me enough information to shop around a bit but the USB hub sounds like a pretty good idea either way. Thanks for all the help.
