If you want cheap games you can try Humble Bundle, Good ol' Games, and G2A. G2A is like the ebay of videogames, a marketplace to sell and trade CD keys.

For MMOs. These are the ones I play that are free.

For MOBAs I have Fractured Space and Paladins.
For FPS/TPS I have Heroes and Generals, Warframe, Ghost in the shell stand alone complex,
For RPGs I have Trove, Mabinogi, Archeage, Vindictus, Neverwinter, and TERA.
For vehicular combat I have Star Conflict, War Thunder, and World of Warships.

The first games that will be suggested are Battlefield 1, GTA V and Overwatch. You may already have Far Cry 4(AND 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). Far Cry Primal is one of the better games within that franchise. The Witcher 3 is another popular title that will push your 960 to and past its limit. Assassins Creed, for some gets repetitive. The later releases seemed to have overcome the seemingly tedious nature. You may already have Assassins Creed 3 but Syndicate or Unity are more than worth a look. Head on over to Steam or maybe Origin and download the demo(if available) first. Sometimes a cdkey store is cheaper than buying from a gaming client. http://www.cdkeys.com/ is the only place I have purchased cd keys from.

Guess I'll take the free to play route.

You can try Warthunder and Warframe. Both awesome looking games especially Warframe. Now that you have better nvidia GPU with better PhysX Warframe will greatly benefit in that setting.

Nosgoth was also another good looking game.
