Hello all am a new user to this forum. I need some advice on a GPU for a system I've put together. I've put together a Windows XP machine for retro gaming (Offline gaming) but am at a loss to what GPU will work with this configuration. Looking to play games from around 2000's to 2008 ish at there best settings possible without replacing the PSU at smooth frame rates.

Here's the hardware specs

EVGA 450W BR (37.5amp 12v)
WINDOWS XP PRO SP3 32BIT
2GB DDR3 RAM
INTEL CORE 2 DUO E8400 3GHZ
250GB HDD
ASRock G41M-VS3 R.2.0 MATX

If some can help me to pick out a GPU for this build would be much appreciate it.

If you're team green, gt 730, gt 630 or even 530 on the higher end of things... and on the lower end you'd be looking at anything from a 6600 - 7900 gt.

If you're team red, on the higher end of things you'd probably be looking at something like an HD 7730, HD 6670 or 6570.... and then lower down scale, things like the HD 5550, 4650 or 3650.

What games do you intend on playing? And what sort of budget are you looking at?

I'll be playing games such as:

GTA 3 to San Andreas
Need for Speed Underground 1 to Most Wanted 2005
007 Nightfire
EA's F1 series
rFactor 2005
Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2

Will also be playing some emulators like the PS1, Mega Drive etc.

Budget wise look no more than £100

GPU is the final piece am missing in this build which is the most difficult one for me.

3650 sounds promising but the PSU requirements is pushing the boundaries my PSU its only 450w. The card requirements 400w too high. Gt 730 and 630 are good options at 300w requirements so that would be my target goal or less so I don't stress the PSU so much under heavy load and, has a bit more room to breath. Any other cards like gt730 and 630 that I could use? Still haven't made a final decision yet.

Edit update:
I've made a decision gone with an evga 630 1gb as it's the cheapest, plus the power unit is evga so why not :D thanks everyone.
