Question Recommend me a Media Bay Storage Solution for 4K Editing

I have an HP Zbook 15 G2. The reason I bought it was for Thunderbolt 2. However I see that this connection has been replaced with the version 3 port connectors.

I need a 2TB-4TB workflow storage unit. I could use the extra 2.5'' bay slot, but SATA3 has a max of 6gbs.

It's hard to find Thunderbolt 2 dual drive 3.5'' enclosures compared to the prices of the new version 3 technology. I know that the max speed I can achieve is 20gbs. That seems fine.

QNAP has a few products with assorted TB capabilities...

Shown is a 4 bay 3.5" drive model, has 10 Gbps networking built in, and it accepts an M.2 cache drive...
