Hi People,
So I'm new to the site but I've seen some very helpful info on here and I need help.
Recently I bought a pretty good Dell laptop in my opinion. It has an i7, 12G of Ram, 1TB HD, and 256GB SDD.
I was hoping to use this PC to use an Elgato and a PS4 to record and also livestream with OBS
Well, after many tests, I've realized it's not working too well. I can record with great bitrates and I can live stream with great bitrates as well. The problem is when live streaming I believe the Laptop gets too hot and after about 20min it begins to lag really bad and I have constant disconnections to Youtube server. My internet connection is good. 80mbps download speed. 90mbps upload.
So basically...I was hoping you guys could recommend me a good Desktop PC for recording, livestreaming, and editing gameplay. I don't really need a gaming PC because I will always be using a console. But it does need to be able to capture from elgato on obs and record/livestream fluidly. Thanks guys.
As for price, I was hoping to keep it under $1,500.
