Hey guys,
I'm omw to build a PC but I'm a bit stuck - I'm a complete noob when it comes to hardware (ironically).
However, as I'm used to working with Linux on my old pc, as Linux is the only that lightweight OS it supports, I will for surely continue my journey with it. But another thing is that I do enjoy playing games and I'm planning to play most of them through VFIO passthrough on a windows kvm.
In that case, I would like to ask you what would the perfect setup would look like?
As of this, the PC must have those components at least:
2 GPUs - one of them would be dedicated for gaming and the other one will be used for my main OS (it doesn't matter if it's an integrated or a budget dedicated one, it would be used just for the OS GUI and not much more)
2 HDMI outputs - if the second GPU is an integrated one, the motherboard should be able to support HDMI
The system should have enough RAM to support simultaneously 2 OSes - the main Linux os and the kvm one.
Budget is about 1500-1800 USD.
