I haven't kepted up with SSD tech.

I'm building 3 new pc's, for a business. They however use things like auto desk, whereby there is a crap ton of little files. 5 to 10 meg. But in a project at one time, there are maybe 10,000 of them total.

Anybody recommend a high rated for many little files, extremely reliable ssd. Should I go enterprise grade ssd?

We are using 1TB Black HDD 7200 Rpm. It works fine, just a tad slow now.

i think you could get away with SSD drives from samsung's if all files are on average 10MB then that 10,000 would equal 1TB so a minimum of a 500GB SSD should be fine

depending on what kind of budget you have you can always go to the 1TB models too

I was using 10k files as example. It may not be that amount realistically (I agree with you and the math), just saying it is a TON of little files.

Samsung drives are rated for this type of thing in business environment. So 5 days a week with non stop little files. But the number of little files varies per project.

So Samsung 860 evo regular ssd drives then be absolutely ok?

they should be, the evo pro models do have a longer warranty with them too
