Recommend X-Fire mobo with good c2d oc performance

Ok, the name says it all pretty much, im lookign for a Mobo, i have everything else, apart from the mobo, i have a E6300 and 2x X1950Pros, which would be the best and most available mobo for me? I was thinking of the GA-P965-DS4 but i i noticed that the 2nd lane ran at 4X, i read an article saying that 4X didn't limit bandwidth too much but it did limit it a little bit and it was a bit old. also, what is the p975x chip like for overclockign, i heard they vwerent as good for it but better than the 965 for pci lanes, please reccommend. Ps, can you switch the lanes on the ds4 so it is 2 8x lanes i could go for that.

975X is a faster performing chip but doesn't overclock to as high fsb because it's an older design.
That's why it's not usually recommended for achieving the max overclock from an E6300 with it's 7x multi.
If you can afford it the best for your situation is probably the DFI RD600 board which will hit 500fsb & has dual x8 for Crossfire.

Ps, can you switch the lanes on the ds4 so it is 2 8x lanes i could go for that.

No, there is a rumour that DFI's 965 may allow that by jumpers - if they actually put it into production.

im in Australia, RD600 won't be here for a long time yet and if i did get it from overseas the shipping would kill it, lol, ill check out that DFI board, ps, i would go for the 975 but it is also in the same price bracket as the DFI.

Ok, couldn't find a DFI P965 with possible 2x8x, im thinking of getting a MSI 975X Platinum PowerUp, it was in the review about "four 975 motherboards for core2duo"
