Hello, I need recommendation for a good laptop which isn't gaming laptop but still pack some power to do a little bit of gaming (medium-high setting on some new game is good enough). I will be using it more for programming and a little bit of game dev using unity. I am not interested in macbook or a slim looking laptop because feels like too fragile for me. I also prefer laptop that has good lifespan reviews and the most important is having price under 700 USD. Any recommendation is very welcomed, thank you

Thanks for the reply, But I think I will pass this because when I saw Here, I saw that the heatsink pipe for CPU pass through the GPU in order to get to the cooling fan, this kinda convinces me that it will get overheat easily.

Nitro series have bad thermal management.

When you say "medium high on new games", only mid-range gaming laptops can do that.

Try this. The screen sucks though https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B071JPYP1Z/ref=mp_s_a_1_45?ie=UTF8&qid=1517319406&sr=1-45&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&dpPl=1&dpID=51xU3TdzlUL&ref=plSrch

This has the same screen but better graphics about 25% faster https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07793DRK9/ref=mp_s_a_1_217?ie=UTF8&qid=1517319688&sr=1-217&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&dpPl=1&dpID=41UOlGUlcEL&ref=plSrch

I see your point, if I compromise with only medium setting, do you have any recommendation? Because those 2 already pass 700 usd

It's near impossible to find a gaming laptop for just 700usd. Your beat chance is to wait for sales.
For ~600usd you can get a laptop with mx150 graphics. It's not considered "gaming" graphics but is strong enough to play games like csgo, overwatch, fortnite, rocket league etc
