650 IS NOT FINE. you need a 750W please guys stop giving bad answers. your card will start giving you Black spots and Blue and black screen beacuse you are not going to use the right amount of power with 650W.

In the place you're looking at, just see which power supplies are within your budget and at least 550w. Realhardtechx says 600w to be safe. Then cross-reference them with the list that turbopiki linked earlier.

Dude, where are you getting your info? 650W is fine. See here: http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page362.htm

Again, please stop giving misinformation. What is more important is how many amperes the power supply provides (also at a temperature of around 45-50C). A tier 3 psu that is rated for 650W will definitely provide more than enough power. A tier 1 or 2 is better.

System with R9 280X needs PSU with 30A and a 550W minimum

I am from Europe too . XFX 550w is usually the cheapest good option in EU. Which country are you from and what is your budget for PSU

you are wrong my friend. 30A is howmuch the Power is given to the cable. and yes 30A is needed but a 750W power supply is required

30A translates to only 360W needed on the +12V rail(s). A decent 550W psu will convert around 475-500W into amps, or around 40A.

you are under power then. yah your cards will run and your system will run but within 6-8 months you will start seeing problems

But let me as you one thing If your 850W powersupply is 80+gold then you are actually running 930W so you are okay.
1000WattPower Supply is recommended for CrossFireX System. you don't belive me read the SPECS before you talk.

Comeback 1 week before you will buy your parts, prices change nad if you dont know AMD will release new GPUs in 1 week

Oh, you're not buying the gpu and psu until Christmas? In that case AMD's 3xx series will be out and you should be able to get that for a similar amount of money.

As for the psu, just look at ones from brands like Corsair, XFX, Antec, FSP, Super Flower, and Seasonic. EVGA, Rosewill, and Cooler Master make some decent ones as well. Just refer to the list (http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html) when in doubt!

That is true but they will be way over priced to even think about them.
